Kickoff Weekend Delivers Information, Excitement and Vision

Like clockwork, the first weekend in December is a special time for US Elite Baseball. It’s their annual Season Kickoff dinner. This year marks the 6th annual event and is sure to be the biggest and best event ever. The event will be held on Dec. 1-2 in York, PA at Heritage Hills Golf Resort. The Keynote speaker at the dinner on Sunday will be Coastal Carolina head coach, Gary Gilmore. Gilmore lead the Chanticleers to a D1 college baseball national championship in 2016 and has built one of the most successful college baseball programs in the country.

Gary Glimore will be the Keynote Speaker.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday with the second annual Train with the US Elite Pros event. US Elite alum who have moved on to professional baseball will return to give back to the program and provide a great day of training and instruction for the current US Elite players. One of the most popular details of the day will be the Q and A for US Elite players and parents. A social for parents and grandparents is also planned for later that evening, as well as wiffle ball and dodge ball tournaments for the players at nearby Ballyhoo Sports Complex.

The action continues Sunday morning with a leadership seminar for players and parents. Last year’s seminar by Garret Barbush, who is the CEO of Men of Iron, was incredibly impactful and this year’s seminar will be just as great. The 2019 Season Kickoff Dinner begins at Noon. US Elite Director, Mark Helsel, will begin the dinner with a recap of the 2018 season and recognition for coaches and players. Helsel’s recap is entitled ‘A Year of Firsts’. In addition to Coach Gilmore, Jeremy Booth, founder of Program15 will speak, as well as Jay Bennett.

Booth will update the estimated crowd of 350 guests on the latest happenings at New Balance Baseball, Program15 and the Future Stars Series. US Elite is a partner program of the Future Stars Series. Bennett is sure to deliver a powerful message on health, wellness and sports performance, as it relates to nutrition. He is one of the top speakers in the country for Isagenix wellness products. Helsel will make the announcement at the dinner that Isagenix is the Official nutritional and wellness products of US Elite Baseball.

One of the highlights of the event is always the announcement of winner of the Brad Evans Award. The award is presented to the player(s) who most embody the core values of the program such as commitment, integrity, character, dedication, hustle, attitude and academic excellence. US Elite coaches nominate players from their team and those players are recognized before the winner is announced. Brad Evans played in the US Elite organization in 2010-2011 before he tragically died.

Finally, Helsel will announce the official national expansion plans of US Elite Baseball through a new position in the organization called State Director. “We’ve been building our brand for 13 years. We know who we are and we know who we’re not. Our culture gets stronger every year. It’s now time for us to impact more lives through US Elite’s ‘Uncommon Standards’. It’s an exciting time to part of US Elite Baseball.”
