Bill Goudy is the Current Associate Head Coach at John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD. He serves as the 3rd Base Coach and works with the team as the Hitting/Base Running/Infield-Outfield Defensive Coach. As a former Collegiate Leadoff Hitter known for his speed and defense he appreciates those aspects of the game.

Bill has professional certification as a Hitting Coach. He is On Base U Certified and K Vest Certified.

John Carroll is a member of the MIAA A Conference which is the best High School Baseball Conference in the State of Maryland. Bill has helped lead the Patriots Offense to 2 of their most prolific Offensive Seasons in 2018 and 2019 breaking school records in Runs, Stolen Bases and Extra Base Hits with multiple All State, All Metro and All MIAA selections and the 2018 Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year.

Bill is an original founder of the Blue Chips Baseball Program starting in 2012 for Harford and Surrounding Counties Athletes to Pursue their dream of playing at the highest levels. Over 7 years he Coached many players to state level High School accolades and helped 63 players achieve their dream of playing college baseball.

During that time he led 2 Blue Chips 16U Teams (2014,2018) to Gold Medals in a 5 years period at USA Baseball in Cary, NC in the USA Cup. The first Coach to achieve such a feat.

Bill is the Co-Owner /Current Lead Hitting Instructor at Absolute Sports Performance in Abingdon, MD where he works with 10U to Professional Hitters to refine their swing and maximize potential. His passion and reward is seeing his Students prosper and achieve. Bill has an unwavering passion for the game and teaching and it shows. Bill is a member of ABCA and MSABC Coaching Associations.

Bill resides in Bel Air, MD with his wife of 24 years (Laurie) and their 2 Children.
