Joe Pfistner is excited to pave the way for US Elite Softball. He spent his playing career as an infielder at Palisades High School and Edinboro University of PA. After 11 years of coaching high school baseball, he made the transition to the softball diamond 5 years ago.
While coaching at General McLane High School in Edinboro, PA and North County High School in Glen Burnie, MD, Coach Pfistner was instrumental in helping each team win county titles within his tenure. In 2009, North County achieved a ranking of 25th in the country from Baseball America. Specializing in hitting and infielding, Coach Pfistner has had the fortune to see many young athletes achieve their goals in playing college baseball at all levels. As a softball coach, he has already seen one of his players earn a spot on the USSSA All-American roster. Coach Pfistner was recognized as a finalist for the Service in Baseball award by the MSABC in 2009 because of his dedication to his athletes.
Coach Pfistner was essential in rebuilding a local rec and travel program, growing it from one travel team to five in his three year term. Within that span, teams went on to win several "C" level championships, as well as reach new heights in the development of local talent.
