My name is Alec Daneau, I am a 6'1", 175 lbs right handed pitcher and middle infielder from Wake Forest North Carolina. I have been taught from a very young age to love and appreciate the game of baseball and have became dedicated to the game by constantly working to perfect my skills and learn new things along the way. Throughout the years of playing baseball, many people have turned me down and told me I'll never be anything. My goal is to prove all the people that told me I couldn't do it wrong through my hard work and dedication. From the mound I throw an arrangement of 5 different pitches consisting of 4 seam fastball, 2 seam fastball, changeup, slider, and a cutter. The thing that sets me apart from other pitchers is my ability to control and manipulate my pitches constantly get the batter to roll over or pop up. My off-speed pitches are my specialty with my late, sharp break from my slider, cutter, and change up. My fastballs mange to get a lot of swings and misses and provide a great change in speeds from my off-speed. From the middle infield, I am always prepared to dart to my left or right and never afraid to lay out for a ball. I am able to cover incredible range from both sides and my soft, smooth transfer allows me to throw a lot of people out. From a hitting standpoint I am able to make contact and drive balls into the gaps for singles and doubles. On the base paths, my focus and timing allows me to steal bags and advance on base hits with ease.
