His Uncle, John Offerdahl, is a former Rookie of the Year Miami Dolphin's linebacker who played in the NFL for 8 years. Ben is an Eagle Scout, and a strong student at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He has two brothers, Kyle, who is a 6'6" LHP for Univ. of Virginia, and William, a student at University of Florida.
