I know that my academic obligations have to be my first priority so that I can do what I love to do: Play baseball and ultimately turn my passion for the sport into a career. I currently maintain a high grade point average and aspire to earn a degree in sports management. After school, I take dedication from the classroom to the baseball field. As I’ve progressed through the levels of playing baseball, I’ve discovered there is more to the game than just hitting, catching, throwing, and running. Teamwork is the major component needed to have a successful game. Other skills that I have learned and developed include patience, commitment, and networking with other people on my team and organization. All of these skills are refined on a daily basis and contribute to the valuable player that I am becoming to my team.
