Players interested in playing for a US Elite College Prep-Illinois team should complete the form to the right.

Tryouts for US Elite's College Prep Teams will begin in (16) different states (see list below) beginning in the summer of 2022. Rosters for the 2022 fall season and 2023 Summer season will form. The PA College Prep Teams will comprise the top players in the state. Players interested must attend a tryout in the summer of 2022.  Teams will be formed in the following grad years:

  • 2024 (incoming seniors/17U)
  • 2025 (incoming juniors/16U)
  • 2026 (incoming sophomores 15U))
  • 2027 (incoming freshman/14U)
  • 2028 (incoming 8th graders/13U)

Most states will have one team per age group, per state starting at 13U. Teams will be composed of the most talented players throughout the entire state.

Players who are interested in playing on a US Elite College Prep Team can complete the form to the right and register for a tryout. Players attending a tryout will receive a professional level evaluation, using the same technologies the MLB clubs are using to evaluate prospects, such as Blast Motion and Visual Edge. State Directors and coaches will be looking for players who demonstrate above average ability for their age group.

Say 'goodbye' to average, watered down baseball!

US Elite Founder, and National Director is excited about what this program will offer. “It’s no secret that travel baseball has grown enormously over the last 5-10 years. There are more teams now than ever before. This growth has created a big challenge for college coaches to see talented players. The talent has gotten very spread out and watered down. Our model is designed to put elite level players on one team and then create a schedule that puts them in front of college coaches on a regular basis. College Prep Teams will play against similar teams with the same talent level. We're not chasing trophies, we're helping kids get D1 scholarships. I shared this concept with a lot of college coaches last year and they were all for it. If they can watch a team with 12-15 high level prospects play against another team of equal talent, that's efficient scouting".

Play for your state pride. Win a True National Championship!

US Elite will host its own World Series in the summer of 2023. US Elite College Prep Teams from all over the country will compete for a National Championship.  “With all of these super talented College Prep teams forming it only makes sense to create our own US Elite event where they get to play each other for the right to win a true national championship, said Helsel. "It’s already creating a lot of excitement. Imagine 15-20 states sending their top team to play against the other College Prep teams. For players, they will be playing for the pride of their state. And for college coaches, it will be an amazing event for them to scout."

Play on college campuses in front of college coaches!

The College Prep teams will play a very specific, high level schedule, highlighted by playing in the College Prospect Series and the 3 Game Challenge Series. The CPS is a program created by US Elite to organize small, elite level team camps on college campuses. "We started the CPS in the fall of 2019 and it was a huge success, and will continue this summer. Everybody has loved the experience so far, especially the college coaches. They stay home and sleep in their own beds, and then watch (8) really talented teams play at their stadium. We’re reaching out to some other elite level programs and inviting them to participate in the CPS with us. It’s good for everyone and we want to create the best competition possible. The 3 Game Challenge Series is the only event of its kind. It is the closest model to college baseball. US Elite College Prep teams play another national level organization in a 3 game series on a college campus. Its just an awesome experience for everyone involved. ".

US Elite Promotes its players to college coaches!

US Elite Baseball is the ONLY program in the country with an internal, private database that connects college coaches with it's players. Thanks to DiamondZoft Sports Management Software college coaches have access to US Elite players, and can search through the national US Elite database of players to find players that fit their program's needs. While many players pay "big bucks" for outside recruiting services, US Elite players have this amazing service included in their player fees at no extra charge. That's UNCOMMON! See where our players go to school HERE

Earn a spot on a US Elite National Team!

Helsel says there is one more huge benefit to forming the College Prep teams. They will feed the US Elite National teams. “We have gotten a ton of feedback from our state directors and coaches on how to organize our National Team program. We came up with a plan that we have not seen anywhere else in travel baseball. The players who get to play for our National teams at the biggest national events will be players who are already playing on our College Prep teams. In other words, we’ll use our own national network of players from all over the country to feed our national team program. But, instead of taking them off an All State team permanently, they will play on both the state team and the national team. They will be a full time player on an All State team, and then play for the US Elite National team in the big events like the USA Baseball National Championships, PBR National Championships, Future Stars National Championships and the Perfect Game World Series.

It’s the best of both worlds for the players selected. It will also be a true National team since the players will literally be from all over the country.” Helsel said it will also eliminate the need to bring in “guest players”. All players representing US Elite on a national team will come solely from the US College Prep Teams.
