What is the US Elite National Youth Program?
Beginning in the first quarter of 2022, US Elite will begin onboarding new youth teams starting at 6U up to 12U. The goal of the program is to assist qualified youth coaches with their team management, development, training, exposure and future opportunities for players. Coaches can form completely new US Elite teams, or bring their existing team under the umbrella of US Elite. US Elite Founder and National Director, Mark Helsel, says the timing is right. “Since 2006 we’ve built our program slowly, with a focus on quality over quantity, and we have developed a very strong culture within our program that balances learning baseball skills with learning important life skills. Our Uncommon Standards are really resonating with people. We’ve done our research and more so now, than ever before, people are craving structure, discipline and direction in youth sports, especially at the younger ages. What's a US Elite College Prep Team?
Begininning in 2023 US Elite will form new teams in the 13U-17U age groups all across the U.S. These teams will be formed by our Head coaches by specificallly recruiting the most talented players in their state and put them on one team. The goal is to form 1-2 elite level college prep teams per state, per age group (13U and older) who are comprised of college prospect type players. We all know about watered down teams and US Elite is not interested in this model. We are looking for coaches who are willing to build quality teams by using their contacts and/or to run tryouts throughout their state to find the type of players who need to play in front of college coaches.
