Player Statement

I am a two-sport student-athlete at Sussex Academy in Georgetown, DE. I am an honors student in my school's STEM program. I have played baseball and competed in the sport of wrestling since I was 6 years old. Baseball is my passion. The best memories I have of baseball are the moments I have spent with my teammates traveling, competing, and learning the game at awesome places around the country. I have learned to face adversity and work through it. The mental and physical discipline required by the sport of wrestling has made me a better baseball player and athlete. My parents have taught me that talent is not a defining feature without hard work. The skills I have learned through competition have helped define me as a student, athlete, and person. I look forward to the challenge and opportunity to participate in baseball in college. I am looking for a school that is a fit for me academically and athletically, and that will allow me to pursue my career path as an engineering student.
