My name is Anthony Sodano, I am a 2023 left handed pitcher from River Vale, NJ. I am fortunate enough to play for the 2022 US Elite National Team and for my high school, the Pascack Valley Indians. I was born 7/6/2004 and currently 5'11" with a weight of 191 lbs. When I started playing baseball 11 years ago, I didn't just play it, I fell in love with it! I knew then and still believe that one day I will play for the New York Yankees, and for the past 11 years (and more to come) I've been working really hard to make that dream come true. I’m in the gym 5 days a week, start most my mornings off with a short squat and hip workout, study hard, completely invested in the core velocity belt program, and even do yoga and Pilates for balance and stretching. I am a leader but also a learner. I believe the keys to success for me are getting the best grades I can get, listening to my trusted coaches, hard work, discipline, making sacrifices and being a great teammate and friend. When I'm not playing baseball or working out, I really enjoy hanging out with friends and family, playing basketball, listening to music and also getting some time on the PS4. My academic interest is in entrepreneurship, because my other plan is to create an apparel company. I like modern athletic clothing designs and would love to have my own label in parallel to baseball or after.
