Player Statement

I started playing baseball at a pretty young age. My dad was the first one who introduced me to baseball, and from then on, I have fallen in love with the game. When I was eight years old, I really started to understand what baseball was worth to me. Not only could I go out and play the game I loved, but I have also made countless friendships that will last a lifetime.

Over the years, baseball has taught me a great deal about life. I have learned the importance of work ethic, how to be a great leader and teammate, and the benefits of responsibility. Additionally, being a student athlete teaches you to get your work done on time and to not procrastinate. It is necessary to have a good sense of time management in order to get the most out of each day.

One of my long-term goals is to find a college that I can compete in baseball and is a good fit for me academically and personally. Some of my assets are my athleticism, my knowledge of the game, and my ability to play any position on the field. With my work ethic and abilities, I hope to use the game of baseball to help me find a school that can provide the education I desire.
