In my eyes baseball isn't always first, before baseball there is school and family. In order to play for my high school team, I need to be passing all my classes and I don't mean like have a 69. 5 and up. I want to have all A's and B's but there are always obstacles and before I ever start focusing on baseball I have to check that my grades are up to my standard. I strive for a chance to be a collegiate athlete and I will do anything I have to do to get my mind and my body fit enough for that kind of play. I don't give up on my opportunities to achieve in the higher level and will play at any spot to help out my team, I try to be the best player I can be each and every day.
On my high school team last year (2019) I got awarded the Trailblazer award, AKA the teammate of the year award. It was the first time we had a varsity season so it was the first time that the trailblazer award was given out.
