Coach/Mentor

Coaches at US Elite Baseball are held in the highest regard. We feel they are the most important position in the organization because they spend the most time with the players, and have the most influence on them. For this reason, US Elite Baseball is extremely selective when it comes to hiring coaches.

Head Coaching Position Description:

Coaches are responsible for the following:

Tryouts (when needed)
Creating team schedule
Registering for tournaments
Roster management (maintaining the correct number of players)
Run practices (as determined by head coach)
Enforce US Elite Baseball policy and procedures (always)

What Coaches DON’T have to do:

Collect Money
Handle Uniforms
Bookkeeping
Player Registrations
Battle With Parents

Ideal Coach Candidate

• Passed background check
• Extensive and successful background in coaching baseball.
• Outstanding reputation regarding character and leadership
• Ability to teach the game.
• Skilled communicator
• Ability to work with many types of people.
• Strong personal interest developing young men first, baseball players second.

Compensation

Most US Elite coaches receive compensation for their time and effort to give back to the game. Details are discussed during the personal interview process.
